Is Brisbane considered a windy city?
What about Adelaide?

The reason I ask is because we all suffer from sinus problems and are looking for a city to settle in that is less likely to be windy, often causing sinus related problems as pollens are blown everywhere.

Wind is something that most cities in Australia have to contend with, and the hayfever and sinus problems go with that, although it often depends on the type grasses that are growing in the area. This is really something you should discuss with your ENT specialist, as he/she should have some knowledge of the type of area you should live in.

Perth is generally considered the windiest city in Australia, and the third windiest in the world.

Canberra is extremely windy in early Spring, usually from September to mid October, and has a bad reputation for causing hayfever and other allergic reactions to the pollen and dust.

Think Sydney is also a problem as the pollen count is often mentioned in the TV news.

Not sure about Brisbane, but I have relatives on the Gold Coast who say the heat and humidity sometimes causes sinus problems, although for others humidity helps.
