I have found two different addresses does anyone know what the difference is? Can both addresses be used?

The name Glasshouse Mountains Road has been change to Steve Irwin Way.

Same place new name.

THE road running past Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo on Queensland's Sunshine Coast has been renamed in honour of the late Crocodile Hunter.



On New Year's Day, Glasshouse Mountains Road officially became Steve Irwin Way.



The conservationist and media personality died in a north Queensland stingray attack in September last year.



Queensland's Department of Main Roads began replacing the road signs late last year, but the name change did not become effective until yesterday.

It used to be called Glasshouse Mountain Road but since Steve's death it has been renamed to Steve Irwin Way. However either address will get there.

Australian posties are good at their job, they get mail delivered with some strange addresses. The name of the road was changed recently which explains the difference but not all that information is needed. As little as "Australia Zoo, 4519, Australia" would see your letter delivered correctly and quickly. You could probably omit the Postcode and it would still get there as the zoo is reasonably well known.
