I'm going on a working holiday visa and likely to be labouring. I have passed the test just wonder whether its worth to send off for the card?

I don't know what a CSCS card is but if a card (health & safety or whatever) is required in Australia, it will have to be an Australian card. The cards here are called White (or Green or Blue) depending on the state. Search on 'card colour state'

I don't know what this card is. I don't know if it would be recognised here. Best to check with your union.

The UK Health and Safety pass also known as CSCS, Cardconstruction skills certificate scheme, is NOT valid in Australia.
Here in Australia, if you are going to work on ANY construction site you will need to obtain a Construction General Induction Competency certificate, in the State that you are working..

?, I know in Sydney, you have to do an introduction course to the industry approved by the WorkCover Department, and that is called a white card. I am assuming it is similar in the other states.
