I'm just wondering where to live in Australia. Which state is just overall, the most fun if i like to surf, but still like the city life as well. Can someone match me with the perfect state?

Well everyone will argue about which states surfing is best. And they all have fun cities. But Queensland has the best coral reef by far for scuba diving!

West Australia has the best surfing beaches down south.
It also has great scuba diving on the Ningaloo reef and is the only place in Australia you can swim with whale sharks.
You can have the best of both worlds and experience the bush without to much commercialisation.
Our cities are a bit boring but Fremantle has a great atmosphere

Southern Queensland or Northern NSW for surf.
Victoria and Sydney for Nightlife and shopping Sydney has good surf but very crowded and a bit tribal
South Australia and Wester Australia have some of the biggest sharks
Darwin sucks on all counts except drinking beer
South coast of NSW has good surf Good diving and you can drive to Sydney if you want a night out !

Melbourne has no surf (it is on a bay)
Sydney has surf but is crowded
QLD is by far the best for water sports but the state is gigantic. Sunshine Coast is good for surf, is good fun and there is a reef off the coast. FOr awesome scuba diving you can go to the barrier reef but that is many hours drive north.
Perth has nice beaches but is very isolated from the rest of the country.
Answer - South East QLD.

Yeah they are particularly distinctive yet i like scuba diving... it relies upon the place you're. once you're someplace tropical scuba diving is stunning yet in laces like california surfing gonna be extra beneficial reason theres no longer plenty to confirm underwater
