Hi Rob, any time of year is good, with an edge toward springtime (October/November) and fall (March/April), since that’s where you’ll find the best balance of shoulder-season pricing and open attractions. Winter (July/August) is not frigid in any of these places (except mountainous regions), but the hiking trails will be closed in this duration.

It depends on what you want to do there. I went once in February - it was hot and humid but a lot of sunshine. And I also went in June when it was winter and rained a little..but I was able to go Skiing.
Both are excellent times to go. Just remember their seasons are exact opposite of the US.
