Aussie, I think you already know what motivates me, and it is not the bucks, that comes with the territory. It's the experiences, the different cultures, and he people I meet in my journeys.

New toys? Man I have a big RV at home that I have not had the pleasure to really enjoy, maybe when I retire, if I'm not dead first.

The Bucks as you put it? The team in the same position as me, well we are compensated for being away from our families, missing out on those traditional things one dies as a family. We also get compensated for some of the conditions we work under, and the dangers that come with the territory.

If I had a choice, of selecting another career path, no Aussie, I would do it all over again. I have lived an exciting life, and at times on the edge.

If I was to list my best assignments and be sincere about it, in order, I would say Australia, and South Africa.

Any small improvement in health motivates me. I have small ambitions these days. I still enjoy visiting new places, talking to new people, making new friends, looking at good art, reading a good book, watching a really good film, listening to the wonderful music of people like Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner, Puccini, Brahms, Bach. Creative people in former times were able to achieve so very much with so very little.

Music is very inspirational and motivating for me. Particularly Beethoven, on a day when I need a bit of get up and go.....

I guess it'd be my dreams and big bucks. Although I do like my job, there's no doubt I would rather still sit around and be lazy, but I like the money I make from it, and I know I'll be able to use that money to fund my filmmaking dream one of these days.

So yeah, that's what motivates me. Money and the potential to achieve goals/dreams.

Being alive.

Waking up every morning I feel that I have already won a small battle.

Onward and upward, with a smile :)
