Typically in a small country there isn't enough economic activity to employ all graduates ...add to that the natural leakage from NZ , particularly to Australia , & you have that imbalance....

Because smart people leave and that means it's only the stupid ones left and that makes the place suck, so more people leave. Then there is the fact that so many people in NZ don't really speak English. NZ has become an over priced 3rd world country. If you have brains and speak English why would you stay in a place that doesn't? Plus NZ is more violent than NY city! Then there is the fact that NZ has no free speech, no free press and no right to trial by jury.

New Zealand has a total of 4 million people, and while their economy is not too bad, the man issue is that there are more options for talented people abroad. Just like people in small towns move to the big city, New Zealanders head off for the same reason.

Oh, and also, nightlife in New Zealand is little violent, so life is a little better abroad.

It's all about the money! Doctors may train in New Zealand but can migrate to Australia and make more money - a big issue if they have student loans that have to be repaid. Would you want to just "embrace and be happy" with lower wages for doing the same work in another country?

actually youve heard....the money!!! New Zealand is unquestionably one of (if no longer the main) desirable places in the international, yet whilst youre from New Zealand,as i'm, you will comprehend which you paintings problematical and dont have plenty left on the top of the day after the expenditures come out. Doing the comparable paintings I do back abode,i can earn greater foreign places, and as an advantage greater desirable lower back because of the replace fee...and the vast element....maximum kiwis are curious and prefer to holiday...thats why i began out vacationing 2 a protracted time in the past now,and Ive spent a million/2 of my occupation foreign places.I nevertheless love NZ, yet as quickly as I even have the prospect to holiday, adventure new and thrilling issues, and as an advantage, make greater perfect funds than i might if I stayed abode, then its a win,win difficulty rather. vacationing the international is impressive....I certainly propose it to all of us!
