Unfortunately, due to America's tight controls, there are currently no reciporcal rights for working holidays between Australia and America. I believe the longest visa available is for 12 months, but if you check out the website for Australia's immigration department, they should be able to answer most of your questions.

Hey there, i'm a Sydney sider. I would suggest your best bet for work would be bar work. So if you don't know how to pull a beer or mix a drink - perhaps learn. This is prob. true of anywhere you travel in Australia, barwork will get you through.

Good luck. Cheers Debra

You should probably write to the Australian Embassy to ask them for that information.

You should get all your paperwork in order.
