Yes and it is a real headache for the pedigree system, as it is hard to work out which Red Cloud is which.

Also the media will no longer report the results of dog judging involving kelpies because they say the public gets bored with hearing that Red Cloud won the gold, silver and bronze medals.

For these reasons, most kelpie owners now have extended the names to make them more distinct, e.g. Red Cloud in the Sunset, Red Cloud at Dawn, Red Cloud with passing 747, etc. Some have competely broken with tradition and gone with names such as Big Red Cloud or Red Fluffy Cloud, but such animals are not accepted in the top dog shows, which insist that the first two words of the name must be Red Cloud.

I don't know what their real names are but kelpies who don't do their job properly are called many names.

Most of which would be censored here.
