It would have to be Sydney - With property prices the way they are it simply has to have to wealthiest people in Australia. Poeple living in Sydney might own a few holiday houses in Queensland???



Queensland properties are cheap as chips compared to Sydney.

After the recent mining boom a lot of people have become very rich in Perth and other areas of Western Australia



Though I'd guess the property prices in Sydney are still a lot higher

Ipswich has the highest percentage of millionares in Queensland, I don't know how it compares to the rest of the country.

Even though the place has the highest rate of unemployment there is a lot of old family money in the place

Rich people would live in QLD.. but richer business people would live in Sydney where everything happens.
